By David Schonauer   Thursday October 11, 2018

Photographer Frédéric Lagrange began photographing Mongolia in 2001 and kept at it for the next 17 years. The result is his new book Mongolia,a portrait of both the nation’s landscape and its people. The 13 1/2 x 16 1/2- inch book also features a text by novelist and travel writer Pico Iyer. Lagrange, whose work has appeared in The New York Times, Vogue, GQ and other magazines, has traveled through more than a hundred countries; he’s best known for his images of Asia.
