In July 1906, the National Geographic Society dedicated an entire issue of its magazine to a series of candid wildlife photographs. Since then, the Society's innovation in wildlife photography has persisted. Now Nat Geo has posted an article outlining photographic innovations introduced since founding the Remote Imaging Lab in its Washington, D.C. headquarters. Consider the crittercam and the lion tank.
