Draw What You Mean

By Peggy Roalf   Thursday March 2, 2017

I was beginning to think that the only way to get a lift out of the noise and disruption being thrust upon me by the current administration might be to take my paints into the woods, along with a tent. Then I received email from Bay Area artist and illustrator, long-time DART subscriber [and it must be said, friend], Vivienne Flesher, along with this art.

I’m posting it here with the invitation to draw, and say, what you mean. As intelligent, feeling people, it is urgent that we find ways to restore the elements of truth, trust and social responsibility—the bedrock upon which this great country was founded.

As of now, this page will be regularly open to images of protest by subscribers. Any and most media [video/animation does not display, apologies for that]

Get Out the Truth! Get Out the Vote!

Thank you,
Peggy

CK, a community-based education organization in Dumbo, Brooklyn, has pledged the month of March a time to support organizations "whose missions are increasingly necessary in the years ahead." BCK will be pledging 25% of all proceeds from class registrations to these 501(c)3 orgs: The American Civil Liberties Union; Planned Parenthood; The Southern Poverty Law Center: Everytown for Gun Safety. In addition, 100% of proceeds on Saturdays will go to these orgs. So with BCK you can do your bit and learn something about photography. Info
