Portfolio: The Tattered Glory of the Playboy Mansion

Photographer Jeff Minton  calls Hugh Hefner’s Playboy Mansion “one of America’s most iconic homes, with such a scandalous and colorful history.” Shortly before it was sold last year for $100 million (with the caveat that Hef remain there until he dies), Minton was granted access to photograph the place. Minton’s images — capturing the mansion’s smallest details — reveal it to be an aging lothario in its own right, notes It’s Nice That. Minton say his images celebrate the mansion’s “tattered glory.”
