Cidade de Deus. March 2017. Large-scale poster of the Brazilian film City of God - a story about how Cidade de Deus, a community built in the 60s in Rio de Janeiro came to be one the most dangerous places in the country. It depicts a life of crime, and the lives of those unfortunately caught in its path. The project demanded judicious use of color, so this piece was done in black and white on scratchboard, and then digitallly colored.
