Chac Mool. 12/2014. Personal illustration for the short story "Chac Mool" by Carlos Fuentes. An old Chacmool statue comes to life to terrorize its owner and steal his vivacity. I have depicted my interpretation of some of the water-based terrorizing, while highlighting the role of water in life, death and sacrifice.
