Moss/Statues, personal work, February 2012. Based on a studio photograph by director Derek Jarman which was to be used as a reference for one of his films. As a basis for this painting, themes materialized on brotherhood, age, concealment, and transformation captured in figures as aging statues in a play of light and dark.
