Begging for Peace. January 2017. After 10 years living as an expatriate, I returned to my home country, Colombia. It has been over 60 years of war, and the government had just asked in a referendum if the peace treaty should be signed or not with the rebels (FARC guerrillas). Peace remains elusive.
