Stravinsky in the Desert: Playing Piano Under Big West Texas Skies
In the footsteps of Donald Judd whose spare artwork refers to the W. Texas desert, celebrated pianists Pavel Kolesnikov and Samson Tsoy venture to Marfa to perform a series of site-specific outdoor concerts drawing on its severe terrain. With each venue, the concert grands are disassembled, transported, reassembled and tuned to the precise conditions.
