Red Robes of Phochu Dhumra
In the sub-tropical Punakha Valley of Bhutan, the monastic school of Phochu Dhumra helps train young men from in-need communities in the monastic arts. A series of images were created to help generate fundraising for the school, with the help of operator Himalayan Echoes. This image also appeared on the cover of Tashi Delek, DrukAir's in-flight magazine. In it, a monk dramatically flares his robes while walking between instructional classes such as ritual offering construction and scripture readings.
