Faquetaique Courir De Mardi Gras
No parades, no beads, no spectators. On horse and foot attendees march through the countryside in traditional bright and flowing French Cajun Carnival costumes, while begging for gumbo ingredients, a live chicken being the most sought after prize of the day. Getting out your sins before the beginning of lent can lend way to mischief and mayhem, so devilish Villains must keep the peace. Villains dress in red and black with menacing masks keep the run fed with bottles of cheap spirits, but they are not afraid to show their authority with muscle and whip.
