In “Bite at the Museum,” Bon Appétit’s Test Kitchen editors turned to art history for inspiration, creating recipes that pay visual homage to renowned artworks. The opening photograph of the series nods to Wayne Thiebaud’s iconic Cake Slice, situating a slice of cake from the inspired recipe into a hand-painted set.
