King of Drag - What Scares You the Most?
Nigerian-American artist King Molasses is the winner of King of Drag, the first ever reality competition show featuring an all drag king cast. I collaborated with King Molasses to photograph the outfits and presentation for each episode's challenge. For a challenge based on the concept of fear, King Molasses created the Void suit inspired by their fear of the unknown. We were able to collaborate and create color images that almost look monochromatic, giving the illusion that King Molasses had emerged from the abyss.
