Stavros Halkias Wants a Career. Will His Fans Let Him Have One?
Shooting comedian Stavros Halkias was an ideal assignment—until the weather shifted. The plan was have Stavvy swimming in the ocean, but as we drove towards Coney Island Beach, the sky went dark and lightning began to flicker. We needed an immediate pivot. I took stock of our surroundings: an empty beach set beneath a dusky sky. And once we paired that with the playful coat made by prop stylist Oscar Sanchez, everything came to life.
