In November 2022 there was a set of brutal stabbing of four University of Idaho students (Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle, Ethan Chapin) in Moscow, Idaho, for which Bryan Kohberger was charged, pleaded guilty to in 2025, and sentenced to life without parole in Boise.
Two friends, Hunter Johnson and Emily Alandt, found the bodies and were part of a Netflix series on what happened.
We shot them on location in Boise. We wanted something beautiful, peaceful and unexpected.
