The Island of Earth's Secrets
The artist Balarama Heller traveled to Sulawesi, Indonesia where he spent 21 days discovering the island’s riches, visiting geothermal geysers, ancient caves and sacred gravesites. With the help of local guides, he navigated dense rainforests, patchwork waterways and treacherous roads, encountering places he never expected to see– including a ravine inhabited by bats.
