Arrest at Mahmoud Khalil protest
NEW YORK, NY USA - MARCH 10, 2025 - After chasing the suspect down, a New York City police officer looks up at her colleagues after falling while wrestling a protester during an arrest at a march in support of Mahmoud Khalil, a Columbia graduate and Palestinian activist who helped lead student protests. Khalil was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement but was later released and is fighting deportation in the American court system.
