Campaign Rally Shooting Aftermath
During a Trump campaign rally in Butler PA, a man shot at the candidate with an automatic weapon. One of the bullets grazed Trump's ear. One person in the crowd was killed and two others were injured. The shooter was killed by Secret Service while he was shooting.
i was asked by Politico to cover this campaign event because it was the last Trump rally before the GOP convention in Chicago. Some assumed he might introduce his VP pick at this event.
