“KISS GUSTAV” is Lisa Powers’ homage to
Gustav Klimt and the Vienna Secessionists (1893-1903)
who broke from traditional painting and
paved the way for modern art.
Powers uses Klimt as her jumping off point,
translating his paintings into
photographic art, while remaining true and
recognisably Klimt.
