Ladders to the Sky
Traveling in Mexico, I was near a construction site. These pieces of rebar were reaching up, waiting for their concrete casings. Between the blue of the sky, the cloud they intersected with, and their unusual shape, they interested me. It was like Calder meets Magritte, I was committed.
