This image was taken during a 10-month reporting embed on Tristan da Cunha, the world’s most remote inhabited island, where I lived and worked in the community, together with journalist Nick Schönfeld. In our time on the island, Nick and I engaged in a variety of assignments and personal projects revolving around elements and histories of island life.
