Young Women Mormons
In this picture: Sunday meeting of the Young Women of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, Midway, Utah. Girls aged 12 to 18 gather weekly to recite the Young Women Theme and receive gospel-centered instruction aimed at strengthening their faith and personal growth.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, founded by Joseph Smith in 1830, established its center in Salt Lake City, Utah, after persecution in the eastern U.S. This 2024 project portrays the daily lives of Mormon families, with a focus on women’s roles, highlighting community and faith.
