Face to Face
Face to Face. September 2022, This image is part of a series inspired by LA sunsets. When I first moved to LA I found a connection and a feeling of grounding through the sunsets here. They were unlike any other I had seen, ever changing, growing, and shifting through the most beautiful forms and colors. They were fleeting in their beauty, but I knew the following evening they would be back, new and striking. For this shoot I used their brilliant colors to paint the backdrop, and as inspiration for the clothing and makeup. The models were continuously moving so that no two frames were alike, just like no two sunsets are alike.
