Shanta Thake, Ehrenkranz Chief Artistic Officer of Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, ushers in a new era with programming that encourages artists to experiment across genres and prioritizes art forms historically underrepresented on the campus. Here, she is seen alongside tenor Andrew Turner in "Song of the Ambassadors", an opera that interweaves music, science, and technology at Alice Tully Hall. Thake's brainwaves were analyzed during the opera and translated to create the digital art backdrop. Tickets to the performance were offered on a Choose-What-You-Pay basis. "Song of the Ambassadors" was performed at Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall on October 25, 2022. It was conceived by K. Allado-McDowell, composed by Derrick Skye, with visuals by Refik Anadol.
