Boxed. January 2022. This personal project is inspired by chalk artists who create interactive drawings that look 3D. In this case, the outcome is reversed by making a 3-D collage appear in 2-D. My use of a “box” is a metaphor for either containment or protection, the former being the intent for this transgender person.
