Family Palimpsests. Mom, Christmas 1940. February 2023. This series of reimagined photographs attempts to animate the personality traits, emotions, and psyche of family members. The layering of imagery reflects the mutability of time, the process of recollection, and the imperfect narratives memory spins. Creating these visual meditations is a means of reckoning with where we come from and how we connect across time.
