NYC Asylum Seekers Returning to Port Authority for Help
Volunteers greet migrants at Port Authority after they arrive on a bus from Texas, Dec.19, 2022. Advocates set up a welcome center at the station to help asylum seekers as they first set foot in NYC. Many tried to create a positive experience for families who had gone through harrowing experiences.
