Plaza Theatre in Atlanta Reopens as a Drive-In
Owner Chris Escobar retooled the Plaza Theatre in Atlanta during coronavirus. July 2020. The theatre closed its doors in March by order of the city of Atlanta. Even when it was allowed to reopen, Escobar opted instead to open two pop-up drive-ins for safety. Here, patrons sit in their cars and watch the start of "Do The Right Thing" at the Plaza Theatre's Saturday night pop-up drive-in.
