NYU Langone Hospital ICU. Untitled. April 2020. My father-in-law was hospitalized for 54 days with Covid-19. A tenuous fight, his condition fluctuated and his wife of 51 years, immediate family said goodbye 4 times. He outlasted the virus, however a fast-moving blood clotting complication required 2 emergency amputations. He continues to recover.
