The Flying Cholitas 1. July 2019. These woman are Bolivia’s cholitas luchadoras. A group of women in El Alto, Bolivia who created a group inspired by Mexico’s lucha libre wrestling. It was partly for recreation and entertainment, but also as a way for women who had suffered domestic abuse to take out their frustration and stress.
