Ms. Franklyn. August 2019. We Are Here, is a series documenting people who have or had lived in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood of Brooklyn for more than 20 years. As Bed-Stuy rapidly gentrifies and changes, this project explores the rich history and current circumstances affecting individuals and the community. This photo piece is part of a larger multi disciplinary project in collaboration with artist and director Monica L. Williams.
