Single mom veterans spend a weekend in New York's Harriman State Park to connect and use adventure therapy to help transition to civilian life, sponsored by Sierra Club. Navy veteran Moet Valdez brought her daughter Harlem and mom/grandmother Julissa. I also spent time with them at their home in Newburgh, NY.
