Over the last three years my work has explored the rapidly aging societies of the developed world. With a projected extra 1 billion people aged over 65 in the next 30 years, our societies will be faced with enormous challenges for how elderly will be cared for and fit into society. How will we care for the older members of our society going forward? What are the misconceptions that our society holds towards aging and how do we begin a wider dialogue on aging as so much of our society reaches their golden years?
