Heavy rains and floods have affected several parts of South Sudan, including Pibor, Boma State, causing severe damages to public buildings, schools, clinics, shops, and roads. Last similar flooding occurred in 1992. For years they fought this brutal war in South Sudan. A war once triggered by rival political claims for power has plunged the youngest and poorest country in a world of chaos, illnesses, and starvation. They were saved. Tormented by hunger many former child soldiers think about going back to war.
