Christmas Spirit. The Tubbs Firestorm in Sonoma County was the most destructive fire in California history, destroying 5,643 homes. One Santa Rosa neighborhood lost 1,300. Families had just minutes to evacuate. Residents are doing their best to be positive and maintain a sense of humor during the Christmas season. December 2017.
