Dirty Birds. April 2017. In the remote fishing port of Dutch Harbor, Alaska an estimated 500-800 of America’s national symbol, the bald eagle, live closely among its small human population. They’ve learned to survive off food scraps from local garbage dumpsters, fishing boats, and food waste piled at the local landfill.
