The vast Sonoran Desert that many migrants walk across for over 50 miles to reach connections in the United States. Double Crossed. March 2016. Jose de Jesus Deniz-Sahagun was brought to the Eloy Detention Center in Arizona, a privately run prison for undocumented migrants, after turning himself in while attempting to cross into the United States from Mexico. He was found dead in his cell from an alleged suicide.
