Snow Falling on Soba
Snow Falling on Soba. December 2015. A life changing trip to Nagano, Japan began after a 14 hr flight and 2 hr Shinkansen journey to what seemed to be the middle of nowhere. Our first meal was breakfast. Taken back by new subtle flavors, intricate plating and intense attention to detail, we looked out over the snow covered mountains and steaming onsens with dreams of what the rest of our 3 week stay would taste like.
