Deep Valley, Dark Days. October 2015. The lines between conscious and unconscious blurred while photographing for the book "Deep Valley, Dark Days," and I discovered a region with an existential struggle similar to my own. My intention is to trigger memories— some borrowed, some personal — by creating tension between the foreign and familiar.
