Senior Master Sergeant Ryan Nichols. Dreams of a Warrior. January 2014. A project that addresses PTSD in combat veterans. As an Iraqi Freedom Veteran myself, I understand the emotional impact of war on a veteran. This project represents the dreams of the veteran and how these memories stay with us our entire life. Veterans are often able to shield their memories during the waking hours but we become most vulnerable while we are sleeping and our memories come back to haunt us. This battle will continue for the rest of our lives. PTSD shows no discrimination as it effects males and females, all races, all ages, all ranks and all wars. This is a continuing project.
