Soiled is a series which uses food and dirty surfaces to explore the tension between edibility, beauty and
disgust. There is a beauty but also a sadness in food which has been dropped to the ground and sullied. These are compositions inspired by the interplay of texture, color and an attempt to see food in a perplexing way.
