The Princess Cottage at 705 Front Street in Union Beach, NJ, one for the article “Ghost Town Sandy: The Hurricane's Aftermath at Night,” December 8, 2012. Residents pick up the pieces by day, but leave at sundown, creating a haunting silence. The images were all taken with long exposures, ranging from one to 30 seconds with only ambient light illuminating the subject.
