As the Sudan government bombs rebels, the Nuba people have been forced to spend much of their daily lives in the rocky caves far above the valley floor. In the summer of 2011, Tyler Hicks snuck into Southern Sudan, where he was witness to the terror and tenacity of the women and children of the Nuba Mountains.
