Tel Aviv Beach, Israel, July 2011, part of a personal series. Oxana, 35, emigrated from the Ukraine as a teenager. She survived a suicide bombing in 2004, but became paralyzed two years later in a roller-blading accident. Her son takes her to the beach that has a ramp for handicap access.

Banished from the church he founded, he was forced to wander the Arizona desert selling insurance. Now Pastor Ted returns with his wife by his side, a new church, and a more open theology.
