One from Inshallah ("God willing" in Arabic), July 2011, a project exploring the Soviet and American occupations of Afghanistan as a background for my own romantic childhood fantasy rooted in the military legacy of the World War II. Two empires, two mentalities, same battlefield, twelve years apart.
