Ghost Dog
Illustration for Jim Jarmusch’s Ghost Dog: a lyrical take on both the lone, noble samurai genre and the world of New York gangsters. Forest Whittaker plays the titular Ghost Dog, a man whose life was saved by a gangster and who decides to dedicate his days to helping him by working as an assassin. When a job goes wrong, the gangsters decide that Ghost Dog needs to die in recompense, and his hushed world living by a bird coop on the roof of a New York brownstone comes tumbling down.
