Lunar New Year Altar
When your family immigrate, traditions become fuzzy. My family's New Year altar is a combination of the traditional symbolic offerings (orange, fish) and people's favorite dishes (noodle, massaman). This is part of an ongoing project where I record my family history through illustrations of food.
