A Grand Connection. MTA Arts & Design Poster. February 2023. The artwork celebrates MTA’s new Grand Central Madison (GCM) terminal, situated below the historic Grand Central Terminal (GCT). The active midtown transportation hub is depicted, highlighting levels below and above ground. GCT’s iconic sky ceiling and golden concourse clock identifies the upper level, with MNR trains directly below. The lower levels feature a LIRR train, commuters, and the terminal architecture. GCM now offers East Side access on the LIRR, serving as a connector for people and places.
