Is D.C. Finally on the Brink of Statehood?. February 2021. Cover illustration for The Washington Post Magazine, issue of Feb 7, 2021. This issue features the story about the D.C. statehood movement. My idea came from the puzzle game, adding the missing ”D.C.” star into the U.S flag with all other 50 blue stars to present 51 states in total.
