The illustration was for the Washington Post Magazine about how zoos give covid vaccine shots to animals. October 2021. I made it playful as the process was not as cold and scary as one might imagine. Many animals are used to taking shots and treats like fruits and snacks also help. I added little moods to them just like how different everyone feels about vaccines in us human society.
